  • Who can apply?

    Africans aged 18-45 who are passionate about AI, whether they are beginners or looking to build on existing digital skills.

  • Do I need a tech background to join?

    Not necessarily! You only need curiosity, commitment, and a willingness to learn. Our curriculum is beginner-friendly with hands-on practices.

  • Is the program really free?

    Yes - the bootcamp is fully funded. If selected, you will get access to training, materials, mentorship, and more at no cost.

  • Where will the physical bootcamp take place?

    Participants will join the in-person segment in Nigeria - with training centers in Warri, Port Harcourt, Abuja, and Redemption City.

  • What kind of projects will I work on?

    You will build real-world AI projects through group collaboration and tackle AI for Good challenges, culminating in a Capstone Showcase.

  • What happens after the bootcamp?

    Graduates will gain access to internship/job opportunities, a growing alumni network, and continuous learning resources.

  • How can I stay informed about the application launch?

  • What is the time commitment for the virtual training?

    The virtual phase will require an average of 10-12 hours per week, including live sessions, self-paced learning, and project work.

  • Will I receive a certificate?

    Yes. Upon successful completion of the bootcamp and capstone project, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion recognized by the AI Now Bootcamp.

  • What kind of mentorship will be provided?

    Participants will receive both one-on-one and group mentorship, featuring guidance from experienced AI practitioners, individuals in tech, and industry leaders.

  • What tools or software will I need?

    A laptop, stable internet connection, and access to basic tools like Zoom, Google Drive, and coding platforms (which we will guide you through). All AI tools used will be open-source or provided by the program.

  • Can I participate if I don't live in Nigeria?

    Yes! The virtual phase is open to individuals across Africa. However, only shortlisted participants who can attend the physical bootcamp in Nigeria will be selected for the in-person phase.

  • Will accommodation be covered for the physical bootcamp?

    Yes. For selected participants, accommodation, and feeding will be fully covered for the duration of the in-person training.

  • How are participants selected?

    Selections are based on eligibility, motivation, clarity of goals, and commitment to the program. We're looking for individuals ready to learn, collaborate, and lead.

  • Can I apply if I've already taken a basic AI course elsewhere?

    Absolutely! If you're looking to deepen your knowledge and gain project experience, this bootcamp will help solidify and expand your AI foundation

  • What happens if I miss a few virtual sessions?

    While attendance is important, recordings will be available. However, participants are expected to meet weekly learning goals and attend key live sessions and mentorship meetings.

  • Can I still apply if I'm a student or working full-time?

    Yes, as long as you can commit the required time for training and participation, you are welcome to apply. Many sessions will be scheduled to accommodate flexible hours.
