Users Policy Guide

  • The library is a place for silent and private study. Users must maintain silence at all time. Discussions and consultations in the library are strictly prohibited.
  • You must submit yourself for security checks before entering the library at any point so designated by the library authorities.
  • Entering the Library without your access card is not allowed, in other words, you must enter the library with your library card.
  • Bags are not allowed into the library premises.
  • Bags and other valuables kept outside the library room and within the library premises either in the box provided or elsewhere, is strictly at the owner’s risk.
  • The Library is not responsible for personal items that are lost, stolen, or damaged on Library premises.
  • Children below age 10 are not allowed access to the Library under any condition. And at all times, any young person above the age of 10 granted access into the library must maintain perfect silence.
  • Some items in the Library cannot be copied because of copyright laws, poor condition, or donor restrictions.
  • All library users must register any book they are bringing into the library. Failure to do this, the books may be confiscated and considered as library property.
  • Going away with library books is not allowed. At the moment, The Incubator Public Library does not have the policy of borrowing out books to readers.
  • Readers are to leave books on the reading table after consulting.
  • You must wear clothing and shoes in the Library, and your body odor must not be so offensive that it disturbs others.
  • Photography and recording are not allowed on Library premises without prior permission.
  • Smoking and eating are highly prohibited.
